The Elements Collection was inspired and created as a bespoke order for a women's retreat in Scotland this September called 'In Her Element', curated by Erika Linae.
When our conversation started around which product options that I have in my current collection that may work for her 14 participants, she shared info with me about their astrological charts (example: one participant was Leo/Gemini/Pisces - she is Fire, Air, Water and needing more Earth). This led me into researching my ingredients and the spark of creating intentional soaks for each element.
FIRE: part of my seed to product collection as well. Astrologically, calendula is associated with the sun and fire element. The element of Fire is represented in the zodiac through Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. This soaking salt blend combines skin nourishing calendula infused jojoba and fire element essential oils: tangerine, sweet orange and nutmeg that are blended with cocoa butter, Dead Sea, epsom, and pink Himalayan soaking salts, and a dried calendula flower from my gardens.
WATER: Signs belonging to the element of Water are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.
This soaking salt blend combines water element essential oils eucalyptus, ylang ylang + lemon and moisturizing organic mango butter, jojoba, dead sea and epsom soaking salts. I was intentional with leaving out Earth element pink Himalayan salt in this blend.
EARTH: Signs ruled by the element of Earth are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. This element offers more mineral rich Earth element pink Himalayan salt for its base, epsom salt, organic cocoa butter, organic jojoba, and earth element essential oils of organic: lavender, rosemary 'tuscan blue', cypress, bergamot and geranium sur fleur rose petals and organic dried rose buds
AIR: Signs that represent the element of Air in the zodiac are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.
The Air soaking salt blend combines the air element essential oils of lavender, lemongrass and peppermint with organic jojoba, Dead Sea, pink Himalayan, and epsom soaking salts. Dead Sea salt is the primary salt ingredient in this blend to connect with the sensation of floating on air similar to floating effortlessly in the Dead Sea.
